Personal Trainer

Dave is a NASM-certified fitness professional who enjoys helping people of all ages and abilities incorporate gym training to meet their health and fitness goals, whatever they are. He enjoys teaching and designing workout programs that are non-intimidating, safe, efficient, enjoyable, and sustainable. After a 30-year career in managing environmental programs, he knows what it is like to try to keep fit while balancing work, family life, hobbies, and everything life throws at you. Dave is eager to impart hard-won lessons from his 35 years of resistance training experience.


Outside the gym, Dave is a cyclist, cross country skier, backpacker, kayaker, tennis player, works at swimming and yoga, and now, pickleball! He is a former competitive runner (3-time Boston Marathoner), and still runs some despite a hip replacement. He enjoys volunteering in the community, meditating, writing, playing guitar, adventure travel, and fly fishing.
