What is your role at Ballard Health Club and how long have you worked at BHC?

I work front desk/member services, and I've been working at BHC since June 2025.

What do you love most about working at BHC?

There's a great sense of community at BHC. Members and coworkers alike are great to work with and chat to, and everyone has made this a very welcoming experience.

What is your favorite part of the job?

I've made plenty of friends through working at the gym, so a highlight is always just getting on shift and starting to make my rounds on the floor to see who's in and saying hi.

What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?

I'm a movie guy so if I have the free time I like catching up with films as well as books.

Where are you from, originally?

Born and raised in Seattle, mostly around Ballard.

Any hobbies outside of the gym?

Movies, comics, robots.

What is something fun or surprising about you?

I used to manage a comic book store for about 25 years, so I am very much an old comic guy with way too many books. Also, robots.

Favorite Restaurant in Seattle?

Currently I lean towards Situ's Tacos, El Moose, Saffron Grill/Taste of India.
