What is your role at Ballard Health Club?

I am a Certified Personal Trainer!

What do you love most about being a personal trainer?

I love helping people achieve their fitness goals! Seeing people striving and growing to become a stronger, better version of themselves inspires me so much.

What inspired you to become a fitness professional?

I spent most of my life avoiding most physical activity, until ~5 years ago when I started to find joy in movement and realized that movement does not need to look the same for everyone. From that point on I started helping others explore new exercise modalities and realized how much I loved it, and the rest is history!

Do you have a favorite success story from working with a client?

A client of mine told me that after his first back flexibility session with me, he went to play soccer the next day and for the first time in years, he didn't have back pain afterwards. I was so happy for him!

What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?

In the summer, paddleboarding with friends at Lake Union or a Mariners game. In the winter, catching up on reading I didn't do in the summer.

Where are you from, originally?

Toronto! Go Raps + Jays (I don't want to talk about the Leafs)!

Any hobbies outside of the gym?

My background is in aerial arts so I love trying new aerial apparatuses. In 2025, I was able to try chains, trapeze and cyr wheel for the first time! Of course being in the PNW I also love to hike and climb.

What is something fun or surprising about you?

I've been cliff jumping, skydiving and bungee jumping! Despite all of this I do have a minor fear of heights.

Favorite Restaurant in Seattle?

Tianfu in Northgate.

Dogs or cats? (Or neither?)

Dogs! I want to adopt a dog this year :)
