How long have you been a member of Ballard Health Club?
Since 2014.
What does your typical workout look like at the club?
I work out for about an hour with a combination of floor work and machines focusing on upper arm, core and balance.
What in the club has worked for you in attaining your fitness goal?
The accessibility of trainers and equipment - plus on-the-fly guidance.
Why do you choose to be a member at BHC, and what keeps you coming back?
I’m a retired runner who had never used a gym before. It was tough because I missed the freedom but BHC was so welcoming, non-threatening and not making a statement. I love the vibe. It’s a happy place.
Do you have a favorite piece of equipment, class or exercise at the club?
I’d have to say the rowing machine. You’re working several parts of the body while in constant motion. I get into a zone and just go.
Anything else you’d like to share?
I never imagined myself joining a club and now I can’t imagine my life without BHC.
