How long have you been a member at Ballard Health Club?

I've been a member for about a year and a half.

Why do you work out?

Favorite exercise would probably be the dumbbell RDL or barbell shoulder press. For cardio I prefer the stationary bike.

What do you do to work out?

It’s a way for me to eat/do what I want and still look/feel good about doing it. Also, I wanted to see how physically fit I can get while I'm still young.

What activity at BHC has worked for you in attaining your goals?

I do a bodybuilding split of Push, Pull, Legs with some type of cardio mixed in for 5 to 6 days a week. There are some core compound movements that I make sure to hit with some specific muscle targeted work to train my weak points. 

Why do you choose BHC as your place to pursue fitness?

The gym has all the essentials for my routine. I love that even at 5pm on a Monday there hasn't been a long wait for a machine or squat rack and everyone is super friendly and communicative.

What is your favorite piece of equipment, exercise or class to do in the gym or at home?

I first started coming here because I didn't have a car and BHC was the closest gym to my house. I come here now because I can't imagine going anywhere else. 

The environment is comfortable and the staff/other gym members are friendly and supportive. It has a different feeling than any corporate gym that you might go to and I look forward to working out everyday.
