Member Spotlight - Caleb Priester and Sarah Chappell

How long have you been a member at Ballard Health Club? 

Caleb and Sarah: 2.5 months.

 

What is your favorite piece of equipment or exercise to do in the gym? 

Caleb: Any variation of a chest press!

Sarah: I like the battle ropes because they are so effective at wearing me out!

 

Why do you work out? 

Caleb: You only ever have one body, and I want to make mine the best it can be.

Sarah: I want to improve my self-confidence and mental health.

 

What do you do to work out?

Caleb: We work out three times per week for an hour each. Two sessions are with our trainer (Jensen) and one session is on our own.

Sarah: We work out for 3 hours each week: two with our Trainer, Jensen, and once on our own over the weekend. We mostly do strength exercises since building muscle is our ultimate goal.

 

What in the gym has worked for you in attaining your goals?

Caleb: Jensen has done a great job of helping us to perfect our form and build up our strength over our time working with her!

Sarah: I think having a personal trainer has been the key to our success. Having that support to push us to keep advancing really makes it feel less like work and more fun.

 

Why do you choose to work out at BHC?

Caleb: It has all of the equipment and resources that we need to be successful.

Sarah: It's a locally owned gym with all the resources we need and more!

 

Anything else you'd like to add?

Caleb: I feel better and strong than I have in years since joining BHC, and look forward to continuing to improve here!

Sarah: This is the most I've ever been regularly exercising and I couldn't have done it without the support of BHC!
