Restoring Our Club
An UPdate from the owner
April 2026
Dear BHC Members,
On Sunday, February 1st a water line from the floor above ours in the building broke and caused cosmetic damage to parts of our ceiling and columns. We have been navigating the restoration process since that day.
Fortunately, being in a 100 year-old, historical building, all these areas are built with concrete and plaster. Combined with the club's natural airflow system, this helped limit the extent of the water damage.
Over these past 8 weeks, while these areas have had time to dry, our amazing staff has worked through the night to prepare the damaged surfaces, and with the support of the building owner we began patching and painting last week.
This set-back caused us to delay our new flooring project that was scheduled to be completed by March 1st. However, we are back on track and have arranged for our first phase of flooring (gym walkways and locker rooms) to be installed in the coming weeks.
On behalf of our entire staff, we can’t thank you enough for your patience and support as we restore our club and prepare for our scheduled upgrades, and we thank you for being valued members of BHC.
In health & community,
Kyle Hyde
