Lots of "New" Things

10-27-23

Dear Members,

It is hard to believe we are already looking at November. But take one step outside and that cold, wet feeling lets us know November is here!  What a great time to get inside to work out!

As part of the new gym layout we have in the works, we will be installing rubber flooring over the wood floor in the main gym. This will provide several improvements over the current wood floor. Equipment will be more easily held in place. The floor will be easier to clean and softer on the feet. It will also supply the large Life Fitness Jungle that we have planned for the main gym with an even base.

There will be lots of late work nights coming with the rearrangement of the cardio and gym areas and the installation of the new flooring.  We will do our best to make improvements to the Club while disrupting our members as little as possible.

Looking ahead for the Club, I see lots of “new” things. New equipment, new flooring, new gym layout to improve our member’s experience. We are also adding new classes as described by Marianne in her letter. We will be presenting a new Nutrition Program for those who want to improve their well being with healthier eating habits. We have new trainers to help members meet their fitness goals precisely and efficiently.

We also have a new Marketing Manager – Courtney Salasky. Courtney has been a very popular cycling and circuit training instructor for us for years and has a great knack for social media. You have probably noticed an uptick in the energy of our Instagram posts lately.  You can thank Courtney for that.  Courtney now lives in Bellingham.  We miss seeing her in person, but deeply appreciate her contribution to BHC’s growth and development in her new position.

I want to say how grateful I am to now be investing in the Club and building for a better future for us all at BHC. Thank goodness I was wrong when I once thought we would be closing our doors when COVID entered our lives.  Instead, we are thriving.

Thank you very much for being a part of Ballard Health Club!

See you at the Club!

Sincerely,

Pat Gilbrough
