Live Love Laugh!

February 2, 2022

Live is in the air! Yes you read that right. More and more live in-person classes are coming into studio Y, including several classes we’ll be adding mid-February. At this time, masks are still mandatory and we will have smaller capacity limits in the studios depending on the format. We’re doing everything we can to help you feel comfortable and safe while working out with us in-person.

Please join Shannon in her cycling class on Valentine’s Day, because love is also in the air! We love our cycling instructors Shannon and Courtney. Shannon is kicking off the reopening of our cycling studio at 9:30am Mondays and Wednesdays, and Courtney will begin on Thursday the 17th at 5:30pm. If you keep showing up, we’ll keep adding more.

Have you had the pleasure of meeting Ivana at the front desk?  Get ready for her southern sass in class. She’ll be teaching a couple of Barre classes and a Core Movement class she has formatted herself based on her Pilates training. Jose is rounding out our return to in person classes by teaching his Step class hybrid style- both virtually and live in-studio. And for those of you that have always wanted to try Body Pump, there is no better way to start or to get back into it than with Bryan. He has you covered starting Feb 17.  Saturday mornings are about to be a blast with Taylor and Dance Fitness at 10:45am. We’re working on more yoga classes too, and MJ has promised another Sound bath workshop in late March. We will have this posted on our website on March 1st.

We’re really trying to do all of this the right way, taking into account our members' needs and wants,, so thank you for your understanding. The way things work has changed in the last 2 years, and there’s a learning curve. I trust we’re all doing our best, because I don’t think any of us want this pandemic to go on any longer than it has to. We’re trying to find the best instructors and to create a schedule that will invite you back. The only way we will know if it’s working is if we see you in classes. The gym itself, personal training and small group training are all mostly back on track, and while we’ve held off on classes, now is finally the time. We won’t be shaking hands any more, but we can live again, we can love coming to class again, and hopefully we’re all going to look back at some of this and laugh together again. I’ll see you in class.
