Heartfelt Thanks

Dear Members,

I feel truly grateful for the feedback that you have provided.  You have given suggestions for the classes that you would like to see offered.  You have raved about great instruction that you have received.  You have let us know when things are going great and when they are not.  Your open and honest communication helps us grow and improve.

Now that the remodel of Studio Y is very close to complete, we are focusing on bringing back more yoga classes, offering more challenging yoga classes, and continuing to offer a variety of online yoga classes all at your request.

We have hired a new instructor, Stephanie Wu.  I think that you will really enjoy her Power Vinyasa classes on Wednesdays 10:45-11:45 a.m..  This will be a hybrid class, so you can take it at home or in the gym.  Stephanie gives supportive hands-on adjustments, so if you are able to come in person, I highly recommend it.  I will also start teaching a hybrid Power Vinyasa class on Fridays 10:45-11:45 a.m., so you can build the heat you have been craving either at home or in Studio Y.

On the other end of the spectrum, you can continue to take  Yoga for Beginners on Fridays 4:00-5:00 p.m.  No yoga experience is required.  Members have responded positively to this in January, so we will continue to offer it.  We will also move my Wednesday afternoon Vinyasa Basics yoga class to Fridays 5:15-6:15 the first week in March.  It will become a hybrid class, so please enjoy a Yoga Happy Hour either at home or in Studio Y.

For those who have requested some early bird yoga, Jenn Zeleski will add Flow Yoga classes to her schedule on Mondays and Wednesdays starting on Monday, February 27.  Please come to Studio Y to energize your day 7:00-8:00 a.m.

We are not only focusing on yoga, though.  Since members have enjoyed the Cycling for Beginners class that Shannon started offering on Friday mornings, that will also continue.  Another popular new class is Courtney’s Circuit Training class in Studio Y on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.  Keep watching for Courtney’s pop up Cycling classes on Saturdays, too!

Finally, I want to remind you of our upcoming workshops.  We have two scheduled for February and one for March so far.  Please find details about them and register if you are interested using the link below.

We could not have come up with all these ideas without your suggestions.  We would not continue to improve without your input.  That is why we genuinely express our heartfelt thanks for your active participation as members.  We feel the love in February not only on Valentine’s Day, but all month long.

Warmly,

Marianne Clarke

Class Director
