Erin is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT 200) certified with Yoga Alliance. She came to the discipline of yoga in a personal search for a healthy way to deal with stressful situations in life and has since become profoundly passionate about it. Erin has a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and after working almost a decade in the counseling field, she found that helping others using only techniques employed by traditional talking therapy was shortsighted, lacking resonance.
Erin began a deeper exploration of yogic principles (including asana, pranayama, meditation and philosophy), she completed a teacher training in Ananda Yoga, and has since taught over 1,000 hours of a variety of yoga styles to students in a wide array of settings. Erin has found through teaching all aspects of yogic principals a shift in consciousness will begin to take place in students allowing for greater healing. Nothing gives her more pleasure than to be able to share the gift of yoga with others!
