We offer affordable childcare services for our members with children, ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. You can make up to two-hour reservations 4 weeks in advance, at a cost of $5 an hour, or $1.25 for every 15 minutes. To make paying easy, we offer punch cards for $45. We take up to six children at a time, with a maximum of two infants under 13 months old. Spots fill up quickly, so we recommend you make reservations as soon as you know when you’d like to come in. Note: Minimum reservation charge is $5, although you may schedule a reservation for less than one hour (in 15 minute increments) if desired.
To provide our members a faster and more convenient way to schedule childcare reservations, we have developed an online childcare reservationsystem. All childcare reservations must be completed online or at the dedicated childcare computer in the gym.
Childcare is as simple as logging online, looking for available times that suit your schedule, and booking your slots. All you have to do is set up an account in our childcare reservation system, which will be kept secure and private. You may add as many children to your account as you wish. The next time you log in to reserve a childcare slot, all of your information will be saved, making the reservation process fast and easy. For added convenience, if you prefer to reserve childcare times or make changes to your account while you are at the gym, BHC will have a dedicated childcare reservation computer in the lobby for your use. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have about our system.
How the Online Childcare Reservation System Works:
·Every Thursday at 6:00 a.m. PST, the system will automatically release dates for a new week, four weeks out. For example, on Thursday, July 8, the system will release the week of August 2-6.
·Once your account is set up, find the date you would like to reserve, select an available time-period during the morning or afternoon session (Monday through Friday: 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.; 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.) and you’re all set.
·We allow only two infants under 13-months in any one period. On the reservation calendar, you will see a number such as 6/2. The 6 in the 6/2 indicates the total number of slots available. The 2 in the 6/2 indicates that there are 2 infant slots available. If the number for the time period is 4/0, there are 0 slots available for infants, but 4 slots available for children above 13 months.
If you have to cancel your reservation, please do so as early as you can, to allow for another member to reserve the slot.NOTE: All same-day cancellations and reservations must be made by calling the front desk at (206) 706-4882. We encourage you to call us for same day reservations, as slots sometimes open up.
Our childcare provider is on call during our scheduled hours. Any time not reserved for same day reservations by 7:30 a.m. for morning sessions and 2 p.m. for afternoon/evening sessions might not be available.
Please schedule your workout time to allow you to pick up your child in time.
Check-in:
Check in at the front desk and pick up an invoice to bring to the childcare room. You will use this invoice to pay for your reservation, either before the children go into the room or after you have picked them up.
Note: If you wish to add additional time to your reservation, please check with the front desk. If the schedule allows, we are happy to extend childcare by 15 minute increments at an additional charge.
